Unit 5: Evaluation and Measuring Change
The point of the evaluation step is to gather the evidence needed to make a scaling decision. It is not an operational test to figure out how to do something; it is about figuring out whether it is worth doing in the first place!
Generally, we aren’t the ones making the decision and that’s a good thing: it helps us limit some of our biases. Instead, our job is to create the evidence that empowers other.to make decisions, by proving out the cost-benefit ratios of a number of interventions that can change behavior.
Activity:
Implementing a behavioral science approach into a workplace is also a behavior change project. You can approach this in a scientific way too.
List some potential promoting pressures your workplace might have for running pilots and evaluating them.
