Unit 4: Design and Potential Interventions

The “evil” prompt asks us to brainstorm interventions that go against our behavioral statement; if we want people to eat more M&Ms, then we evilly want to think about how we could make sure nobody ever eats M&Ms ever again. Remember, this is still directly connected to a specific pressure.

This prompt helps spark ideas we wouldn’t have otherwise thought of, by activating a different set of biases about how we believe humans behave. Science helps us de-bias by looking at behavior change from more than one angle – enjoy your tour of the dark side!

Using a specific pressure, brainstorm how you would use it to stop people from ever eating M&Ms.
